Play in the Park

The Big Summer Ukulele Play in the Park, raising money for our Gateway Ukulele Club, is 3-5pm on Saturday 22nd June 2024 at the bandstand in Castle Park. All ukulele players are welcome to join in, and it would be great to have an audience supporting the event. Safety Course

Our first course for the Roy Clarke Award Scheme Safety Badge begins on Monday 12th June 2023. There will be four sessions covering Internet Safety, Money Safety, Safe Friendships, and Bug Safety.

Story Tellers

We have a new Story Tellers course beginning on 6th February 2023. There will be 10 three-hour sessions, 10am-1pm on Mondays. The total cost of the course is £100, which must be paid in full in advance. To book your place call Victoria on 07710 177050.

All of our Clubs are now closed for Christmas.

Ukulele Concert and Awards

On Tuesday 9th August Gateway Ukulele Club and Simply Strummers are providing a free concert outside Kingsland Church. Everyone is welcome. There will also be a presentation of Gateway Award Certificates.
The lift is still broken and the only toilets are upstairs, so please don't come if this will be a problem for you.

Discos

DUE TO VERY LOW ATTENDANCE WE WILL NOT BE RUNNING REGULAR SATURDAY NIGHT DISCOS. THERE WILL BE DISCOS AT SOME OF OUR CLUB NIGHTS - SEE BELOW - AND THE OCCASIONAL SPECIAL EVENT.

Friday 28th October 2022 - Halloween Disco at Foxash Social Club £6 6.30-8.30pm
